They're playing basketball...

So here is Dan's first production, a highlight film from the trip we took to Iowa last month with AE's AAU team. I had to laugh at Dan's music selection, the girls listened to Beyonce when we were down there, however he never listened to the lyrics. Technically all of the girls are single ladies since they ARE 9, 10, and 11.

It is pretty amazing to watch this team, they had four practices and like I mentioned all of them are 11 and under. Wow. It is going to be a lot of fun watching them this year.

AE is #34.

hey, at least it's not "another one bites a dust" or "crazy train." i hear those at nearly every hockey game.

JG totally wants a highlight film done too, however music of choice is, "Ironman". Ha. So funny how little boys and girls are different. AE wants songs about puppies, rainbows and unicorns and JG wants songs about destruction.

Crap...these girls are 11 and under?!?! They are awesome! Looks like those games are so much fun...for moms too! Great video production, Dan!

Deann - they are all 5th graders, plus one 4th grader. They are soooo much fun to watch - LOVE IT. AE is starting to get to know the other girls more, she really missed her other friends at first, but she watched the videos of the games and said, "My other team (this team) is really good. Maybe I will like playing with them."

Z is like for Zodiac

Shelly and I went to the movie Zodiac last night. The theater was nearly packed with mostly men and couples, so it was a bit obvious when two teenage girls talking on cell phones walked into the movie 20 minutes late. Shelly turned to me, "Why would you even come to a movie like this if you are 20 minutes late?" I agreed especially since they had already missed the first victims meeting their demise and the opening which told the viewer this was a true story. You just had to know they were going to be lost the rest of the movie, plus the only reason they were probably there was to see Jake Gyllenhaal . The movie was very good, one of the best I have seen since The Departed , I read the book and the prime suspect was much creepier on the screen than I imagined in real life.
